I was suffering with terrible pain in the base of my right thumb. I was referred to Dr. Raven, and, boy, am I glad that I went. He is a conservative doctor who had me try occupational therapy and an injection prior to surgery. However, my basal thumb reconstruction gave me back complete use of my hand. The surgery was more than 10 years ago, and I have no problems with my thumb. He is very skilled, personable, and caring.
